I use an empty creamer container and it works well for me.

I just use a dish washing detergent bottle...the medium size and it works great.

Great solution, as I always wind up with a puddle on my ironing board.

I just use the filler pitcher that comes with my irons.

I keep a pitcher of water/ vinegar under my pressing table and use a small funnel for filling my iron. It is so old fashion.
peace

Default Water for iron

I came across a slimline 1 gal beverage dispenser. It's only a couple of inches wide. I set it on a shelf and the spout gets the water where it needs to go. It fits almost anywhere and holds a lot of water.

Good for you. I have a few things around my house that my children might not know what it is. It's time to start educating them as to what those little things are for. I have the receiver for a really old telephone, the kind that did one long and three shorts. We sold the telephone for $5.00 back in the early sixty's. The guy that bought it knew the receiver was missing, but he didn't care. Then later we found it, and I have saved it.
I also have a piece of wood that was used to shuck corn by hand. That thing is worn shiny at the pointed end, and was used by their great-grandparents. Seems just like a piece of wood, but it has meaning and sentimental value to me.

A filler came with my iron but I still spill some! It does have a small spout on one end.
