Great job on the block! Carol Doak is where I began my FPP journey. Love her blocks. You did a fabulous job - keep going.

Your block just sparkles. I love it. I just wanted to say that each block will get easier, and just enjoy the process. You already figured out the hard stuff, now it is just repetition. Keep going. I can’t wait to see the full quilt.

Thanks for all the great tips. I never though to use a dot of Elmer's glue on anything.

I use the card in junk mail to fold. I find it thicker than an index card and easier. I think the cards are designed to not have you tear junk mail in half. The are often in the credit card offers.

QTips!! Yes I said QTips - when removing the paper I moisten a Qtip and run it down the seams. By the time I am done, the paper under the stitches has softened and with out tugging removes easily
I used this tip today and it really works great! Just watch the fabric bleed if you get the red too wet (don't bother to ask how I know)
