I would fold it up and hop on over to wherever you purchase fabric and start auditioning different. That's what I did with my butterfly quilt. I ended up with fabric I would never had bought! All the butterflys were from fabric of other quilts I have made. The border was way wilder than I usually get but it was perfect!

Nice quilt! Take it along with you and see what the quilt shops may have for a fabric that would be a good border based on the colors of your stars.

Very cute quilt! I love friendship stars!!! So easy and fun to make and share!

AZ Jane has the right idea. Love the butterfly quilt too! You never know what a new fabric idea will do for a nice surprise at the end.

    Have fun with it!

It's a beautiful quilt. I think it might be difficult finding fabric with all those colors, while I could be wrong. I would go with maybe a dark blue print, whatever you decide I'm sure it will be beautiful.

Since I like my borders to "frame" my quilt, I would go for darker colors for the borders, using any widths you feel look good.

Love the butterfly quilt. !!! I'll take my top with me next time I go out. That's a great idea and probably the best way to find matching border fabric. Thanks to all for the suggestions.
