We adopted him from the Humane Society in Dec. -- they say he's a Javanese -- yeah, I had to look it up too!

Maybe someone would send you the costume? Or maybe we could just all put those big stogies in our mouths (ewwww)

I'm going! It's been a long time, but I'm going again this year. You must see the Quilt Museum as well as everything at the show location. You will love it!

I'll be going with a friend on a bus from our LQS. This is our second year. You have to try the strawberry short cake. It comes with ice cream. We had it two days for lunch! Try to see Eleanor Burns. She's a hoot! The quilt museum is a must. Have fun!

The good thing about eating all that strawberry shortcake is that you walk off all the calories

    I have been to Paducah.
Parking is a task. They say go on Thursday. Saturdays are too crowed. It's almost impossible to find a motel now. To be really honest I enjoyed the one in Nashville. They have better parking. But any quilt show is awesome to a quilter. You''ll get to see Betty Cotton and Eleanor and Kaye Wood and maybe a few others. Take lots of money and don't plan on bringing any home. lol
    Hope you have fun.

My Aunt (who lives fairly close to Paducah and has been more than once) says the show is amazing, but the museum is to die for! She prefers the museum over the show because of the crowd situation. Maybe you'll have time to fit that in your schedule....Have fun!

Can't make it to Paducah but am planning a trip to Missouri in May and want to go to the quilt show in Kansas City. Has anyone been to that show?
