This one is very close and the website is great. Funny how the pic of the outside shop is verrry different than the pic of the shop on google maps! However, this will def be one of my stops. Thanks!

Last summer we were in northern Vermont and driving south came upon both Waterwheel Quilts (don't know the town but I'm sure it's on their website) and the shop in Chester. Both were EXCELLENT. Worth a drive if you're at all near them. I found things in both that I haven't seen locally (New Jersey). Norton House is also very good and has some special "Vermont collections" of f/q's. Both Waterwheel and Country Treasures were on main roads. I had no idea they existed but saw their signs as we drove by so they'd be easy for you to find. Waterwheel had a nice bench outside where my husband sat happily while I shopped and shopped. Country Treasures, as I recall, looks small but once inside it was much larger than I expected. Spent some $ there too.

My DD says to be sure and stop at Ticklenaked Pond! The farmhouse up the road has t-shirts you can buy to support the pond!

Not a quilting spot but we had to stop just because of the name! It was a beautiful lake....er pond.

There's an absolutely terrific quilt shop in Chester and I don't think it's to far from Okemo. I just love this shop and you won't be disappointed.
