This is one reason why I LOVE my Accuquilt Go - perfect HSTs every time - and the dogears are cut off!

Nolee, there's no need to spend money to make perfect HST's I make mine with the Eleanor Burns method using a rectangle instead of a square like suesews showed (I think it was) using the square and the x sewing on both sides of the diagonal line cut them down to perfect everytime.

Thanks for the info. I was going to try the sewing all around thing and then cut, but now I think I'll just do the two seams on the diagonal and then cutting. I really appreciate your advice.

I, too, use Triangulations2 You just put it in your computer and print out the size you want. So easy and they work out beautifully.

Thank you - I am so glad this subject came up - I, too, wondered what can I possibly be doing wrong???? They aren't lining up! I'll try your idea of starting out a little larger. Thanks.
