HAPPINESS is...???
#41
For me, happiness is realizing I've not only reached my goals for this year, but surpassed them with my quilting! We just got back from NH with family where I taught my DGD to sew hair scrunchies & she's so thrilled that we're sending her a sewing machine, thread, rulers, a rotary cutter with extra blades and a cutting mat! It's her Christmas present. I was thrilled to be able to get her so excited about sewing!! Wish she lived closer to me! Plus I was able to inspire a few others who saw my work. :-)

...the gift of being able to sew just about anything I want, thanks Mom!
...a friend who understands my quilting addiction, thanks Pat!
...finding that friend has more of an OOP fabric that I only needed a 1/2 yard more of in order to finish my masterpiece
...a hubby who's my biggest fan even though he does NOT understand my addiction, thanks Chuck!

This so true for scrap quilts...it is just nearly impossible to imagine the finished quilt. But, that's the beauty of it being a scrap quilt...they almost always turn out OK! :-)

Equally as happy when the quilt comes out OK when I was the one who read the pattern incorrectly...that's happened a couple of times, but fortunately my errors were not major ones.
