It's a huge on line store with many different brands, so if you know your brand, no problem with quality. They don't have nearly the good sales that they used to, and with the 1 yard pricing policy I really don't shop there. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them if they had something I wanted.

I order from them routinely, especially when I can't find what I want at LQS. I haven't had any problems with them at all. In fact, I recently ordered a patriotic panel and it wasn't quite the color I wanted in person. All I had to do to return it was go to their customer service on the website and brief message and email address. The next morning they had emailed me a return label that I printed off, stuck on the front of original package and off to UPS. It was credited back to me within a week. I don't think you need to worry about ordering from them. Fast shipping too.

I've spent hundreds (probably thousands!) of dollars there, and have had only one minor problem. The wrong fabric was sent. I contacted them, and they sent the correct one, and told me to keep the other. They used to send 37" for every yard ordered. Not sure if they still do. The quality has always been great.
I agree that they don't seem to have as many sales as they used to, and I can't seem to find any coupon codes for them these days. I also don't like the extra charge for ordering less than a yard, but I do like that they sometimes have discounts for ordering multiple yards.

I order alot from Fabric.com and have never been disappointed. The only thing that I can say is watch Amazon because Fabric.com sells on Amazon and sometimes you can get the same fabric without shipping costs.. and not spending the $50 minimum

I have ordered from them many times. The only problem I have had is that they occasionally short me on fabric after I tear on the grain for straight cuts. They do not consistently cut straight of grain. I have complained about this and they do send me a credit coupon for future orders. I also think the service is not as good since they affliated with Amazon.

I ordered from them one time. I was looking for a specific fabric and they had it in stock, but it was more than I wanted to pay. I watched it for a while, and it went on sale, and had free shipping! They said they had 15 yards in stock. I ordered the whole bolt. Waited for a while and it didn't come. Thought about calling them, but I got an email saying the fabric was no longer available and my order was cancelled. I tried to see if a smaller quantity was available, but got no response. Sent several emails, still no response. Finally gave up. When I started searching for the fabric again, you guessed it - there were 15 yards available at fabric.com! I haven't tried them again.
This is the fabric I ordered. I finally found it on EBay for a price I was willing to pay.

I have ordered from them for quilting cotton with good results. My daughter orders from them for home dec and outdoor fabric with great results. They were excellent on a return that she had as well. Their prices are good. We recently went shopping at JoAnn's with a 70% off coupon on some outdoor fabric that she wanted to recover some cushions. Fabric.com's regular price beat JoAnn's with the 70% off coupon. We placed the order yesterday. They do give quantity discounts - per yard is one price up to a point and less after that. Do the math when you are ordering. For example my daughter needed 4 1/4 yd for her project but the break point on price was at 5 yards. It was actually less expensive to buy 5 yards of the fabric than it was 4 1/4 so now she has some room to play with her project or make a pillow cover etc with the extra. I would not hesitate to order from them.
