Has anyone made a silk quilt?

I watched a class on iQuilt with Green Fairy Quilter, Judi Madsen. She did a small quilt with dupioni silk & used Hobb's Tuscany Bleached Cotton. Honestly, it was so stunning that the next time Vogue Fabrics has a sale on silk, I'm going to give it a try. https://www.iquilt.com/course/quilti...-a-difference/
I have only worked with dupioni for home dec projects so I have no idea how difficult it is to quilt, but I had no trouble piecing with it for home dec items. It has such a beautiful drape that if I needed more structure for piecing, I'd probably foundation paper piece rather than adding a fusible.

Good suggestions, I will follow up on them. The bargain price means that the quality of the close-out and remaindered fabrics at this store is uncertain. They have everything from the finest high-end to junk, but I will credit their buyer on his choices; much of it is decent quality with a constant trickle of really fine natural-fiber fabrics. (He has to buy what his customers want, after all.) I'll do some color-fastness testing on the silks I bought; It's a good thing to know. The plan has changed and the silk quilt I had planned on will now be conventional cotton, but I'd still like to try one in silk before too long.
