I bought fabric yesterday at Hobby Lobby, and felt like I bought a lot of fabric for not a lot of money. The fabric feels great and the colors are vibrant. I was very happy!

My friend Deb and I travel to Cleveland Tn. to a Hobby Lobby. They have decent batts usually on sale, and rayon acetate velvet too. I like Hot Potatoes, embossed velvet. They also have a good inexpensive yarn, Love this Yarn.

I'm curious - what do you create with the velvet.

I signed up for their newsletter and automatically get the weekly flyer with the "discount" on whatever they offer that week. I love the 40% coupons; that's when I pick up notions which hardly ever go on sale. I also like that you can use one coupon per day so as long as the coupon hasn't expired you can go everyday...of course, that would be dangerous for me.

I was upset that our local HL stopped carrying embroidery thread and not very much in the Sulky line.

Have to agree with this one, not much fabric at the Hobby Lobby in the Boise area. It wasn't excited about any of their fabric...

I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

I have three Hobby Lobby stores near me, and the fabric selection varies widely between the three. The closest one has a very small fabric department, but the other two are twice it's size.

I am about 80 miles to the closest Hobby Lobby & it is probably a good thing. They have such beautiful things in that store to decorate your home plus crafts & fabric & a whole lot more. Great store!
