    I'd leave it, there's variations in batiks anyway so it doesn't stick out much.

    I'd leave it as is for this quilt and learn from my mistake. When piecing borders or binding strips, if you piece them using a diagonal seam (miter) you will not have this problem and your seam will be almost invisible. Its just as easy to do and the difference will amaze you.

    Sometimes one does not have quite enough length to do a miter -

    It looks great. I piece my borders all the time and once they are quilted it's not even noticeable.

    I think it looks fine - BUT, if it bothers you now, it will always bother you. A simple solution would be to take an animal head and applique it on the seam. Maybe a couple critters and have them cross over into the sashing area.
