I would leave it. I glanced at your pic before I read your post and honestly I didn't even notice the seam or the slight color variations. Once it is quilted, its going to blend in fine and no one will give it a second look. Beautiful quilt top by the way, the baby is going to love it!

I think it is adorable!! From the photo, it looks like parts of the green border match the green with the lion on it.

I really don't mind it. It does look very nice. My vote is to leave it as it is. The baby will love it!

I didn't notice it. But I bet if you covered the seam with a square of leftover, like a patch, and put one on the red side, too, no one else would notice, either.
