I use an old perscription bottle that they just fit into. I have gone to the pharmacy at walmart and asked for one the diameter of the blade. They hold a lot of blades and are safe to dispose of.

Here's the chain of life for my blades..
1) Fabric cutting only
2) Non-Fabric use (I have a cutter specifically for this)
3) Disposal
I use the prescription bottle method for my used blades waiting to be used as Non-Fabric/Paper Use and Disposal as well as used needles.

I use the larger pill bottles that peoples drugs come in. find someone who gets that size and have them save you a few. My husband gets one of his drugs in one and it holds the blades and old needles. Then put tape on bottle and label it so they know sharp objects are in it.
Good Luck
