I wonder if it would be possible to put a sleeve on the Trek quilt?? It is almost king-size though, maybe too heavy to hang? Or is there a way to hang quilts that big?

Since I am the the quilter in the family and I am a male quilter guy, I have the same problem. My wife wants to display them instead of using them. I told her on the cold winters night she should snuggle up with one while watching TV, but she said it would get them dirty. I want them to be used and enjoyed. At least my son and his family when they come over, they snuggle in them when they are relaxing and watching TV. Glenn

Sure there is! I have had large wooden hearts mounted to a backing board - sorry description - that is hung high on a wall. The quilt is gathered up fan-style in threaded thru a space between the heart and the back, leaving a small fan-shaped fluff above the heart, and a then the rest of the quilt is draped/hung/fanned out below the heart.

In the drawing, the heart is *absent* so that you can see how the quilt (in yellow) goes up thru the parts of the hanger (in brown and black.

We use our quilts here. But I haven't made one special for him. I am always snuggled under a blanket but he's always hot so hardly ever has a blanket on him except when sleeping.

My husband only uses my quilts is they are on our bed. I will put the one I am working on over the quilt rack and if he is cold he will grab it and cover up while in his chair. However, this is Arizona and we don't get to cold.

Ermm, I kinda get what you are saying but not the pic. Sorry, but are there easier "PJ proof" ways to hang a king? :oops:

Maybe if you start using it then he will too.
