Featherweight 221
Featherweight 222
Pfaff
Innova 26" longarm

I mainly use my 221 for piecing and my Innova. The 222 is backup and the Pfaff is more for fancy stitches.

Love it. Does everybody live in a mansion? Where do you keep all these machines. I have a Husquvarna 870 and a Brother 1500s (on recommendations from this board) because my Husqvarrna is so fussy about FMQ. Straight stitch and quilt on the Brother. Fancy stitches on the Brother. I also have an Evolution serger, but I don't know why. Takes up room and I don't use it that much. Bought it on impulse. Not a good idea.

I have

1957 Featherweight
1995 Pfaff 7510
1998 Elna DCX Serger
2008 Bernina Artista 730 - although considering selling
2013 Brother Quattro
and considering a Little Brother to take to quilting class

Jan, I may be nuts, but I'm also very happy. I love them all. Hehehe

I have to go count and include the ones in the garage too! I agree with Justflyingin, this Quilting Board made me... made me fall in love with the rich history of sewing machines. I joined the group of 'rescuing' machines. A few years ago I began pushing myself back from the table and stopped acquiring vintage machines.

Many of my friends think I am crazy but DH doesn't. He aided me in acquiring many of those machines from Craigslist sellers and we both have many stories of meeting wonderful people and bringing their machines to live with us.

I have an "old faithful" Kenmore that I devote to free motion quilting, then also have a new Baby Lock "Molly" for my patchwork. That way they are both set up ready to go and I don't have to convert it over when it's time to switch between straight stitching and free motion quilting.

Thank you, GrannieAnnie, I was being humorous. I didn't mean to yank Jingle's chain, I'm sorry.

Have you noticed how many of us are self-confessed nuts??!! Isn't it nice to know how many quilter's have quirks like we do, are funny and self effacing and accepting, and, yes, even encouraging - whether it's debatable if they should be or not!! How lovely to be among like minded people.

I didn't answer the question the first time because I didn't think it really mattered. But now I'm feeling left out of the stream of the long listers....can't compete, certainly not envying, nor am I hungering - though I might go get some chocolate like Patrice as soon as I finish this post - and I doubt it'll be bragging, but I've got:

a vintage Bernina 810 - my occasional machine
a vintage Bernina 830 - my occasional machine
a 1990s Bernina 1031 - my daily machine
a White serger ...bought in early 1990 as the most expensive paper weight I've ever owned and never use
a wooden-dome-topped hand crank Singer that is in the attic and whose case is locked with no key!
