I do mine own hand quilting and also for others. Turn around time is usually about two weeks, but depends on how much quilting that has to be done. Have been doing that for 20 years.

I do. It never occurred to me to send it out. The ladies who do tops here do such a beautiful job, but somehow if I don't do it myself it feels like I'm cheating!

I quilt my own on my regular sewing machine. After paying for the fabric I find the price of having it quilted is beyond my means.

I do my smaller ones but still need lots of practice. I send out my bigger ones and it's abut 6 weeks or more to get them back. Wish I could afford a LA.

I do because in my opinion, that is what makes me a quilter, not just a piecer.

I have only made 3 that required quilting and two of them were sent to Heather (hperttula123)of this board - wayyyy to new to attempt a large one on my own. However the last one I stitched in the ditch and it was a struggle on my machine. I may try a QAYG next. Each one is a confidence builder for me.

I quilt my own on my machine. I don't have a long arm but I manage to do quilts on my sewing machine. I have done a king on it. I don't do fancy work but I also cannot afford to send them out. I also hand quilt some of them.
