The oldest piece I have is not really a quilting fabric so I can't call it for my stash. But it is a piece of Voile from the 1930's that my mother bought before I was born to make a blouse, never did. I remember her pulling it out of cedar chest from time to time, saying it is time to make this, but she always put it back. No way can I bring myself to use that fabric. I just keep it where I can see it from time to time. Strange thing is, it really is not that pretty like our fabrics are today.. guess I am just being sentimental....

I was just given some small pieces of fabric and some odds and ends quilt blocks from my husband's great grandmother quilts. She was 100 when she died in 1939. No telling how old it is. Some is very brittle.

I have some partial blocks from my aunt that are 57 yrs old. She was making them while she was pregnant with my cousin & never did a thing with them. I also have some flour & sugar sacks & some printed feed sacks. I think they are late 40 or early 50's? Not sure on those.
