i have been feeling this way for a while now. cant figure out why. i did manage to get out a ufo (oversized queen). i cleared out the dining room and am in the process of basting that baby. I DO NOT WANT TO DO IT. i am hoping that i will start to relax and enjoy the mindless joy of hand basting this gigantic sucker on a bunch of 6' tables. even if it's 15 minutes at a time. that may grow into a peaceful afternoon. take it easy on yourself.

The urgent desire to sew is strongest when I'm running late for work in the mornings and HAVE to leave home. Funny how that works.

If you wanted to quilt, you would. You don't have to want to. Take a break. Your desire will return. It's kind of like love-making. Enough is enough. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Accept it, there are just days like that. My sewing room is upstairs and somedays I just can't find the energy to climb the stairs. Even knowing that if I did make it up the steps, I would get involved with my UFO's and not want to come down.

Yep. I enjoyed my day yesterday...in an odd "incomplete" kinda way. I missed quilting, but couldn't decide which of my MILLION projects to do.
You guys are all so funny and I love reading all your encouragement and comisserations!
I will get back to quilting eventually. I hope it's soon, cuz my MIND didn't go on a quilt vacation...it is still tumbling ideas as quickly as it was before!
For now though, I am going to go FINISH reading my LQS newsletter and get my butt to bed!
    :) Night all!
