    Try hydrogen peroxide. It will take out a lot of things but make sure the fabric is dry.

    Thank you all for your replies. I have lots of suggestions to try!!!

    I am prepared to use a different color but would really like to remove the marks - I am like that. My sister tells me I have some OCD.
