Depending on the pattern.....i would back and batt it; quilt length about every 4.5", bind it and give it to the hospital or nursing home or wherever it might be appropriate If it doesn't work now it probably won't work for you in the future.

One yard lengths is what composes a big part of my stash. Or maybe I should say that's the size I buy and the leftovers are my stash. When trying to get just the right fabric to go with a particular focus fabric I may end up getting two or three (thinking they are ok) and then see another that is truly exactly right. And a few months later those first ones are just what's needed for something else (and may no longer be available in my local shop).

So welcome to stash building! It will be perfect for some project in the future.

I would look in my stash to see if I had a couple of matching fabrics to make a D9P or add it to my stash. You could also treat yourself to a small project ...apron, pot holders, thread catcher, pin cushion, cover for your machine, snap bags,....something that is quick and cute.

Make a purse, cut it into fats or make some cosmetic bags with it.
