Silly me I thought spending was w/cash- ha. I would have aid way TOO much on fabric. Moda is killing me. Stop making so many cute fabrics. My grandkids arrived back from vacation so had to hang up the quilting for today. Made it to church - 91f and no a/c.

I'm getting the quilting done on the Mariner's quilt I've been working on what seems like forever! It's nearly done! I am doing it the QAYG method in three strips and today have been sewing the first two strips together. Then I can finish the broken chain motifs and will have to sandwich the last strip and get going on that. :-) I'll have to sandwich it tomorrow. So excited that it's almost done!!

UPDATE: still no sewing all weekend...but that is ok! The perfect weather kept me outdoors. Washed a couple of door-windows, cleaned the carpet on the back porch-room where the dogs hang out, washed the dogs! Enjoyed my new patio! When July kicks in at 100 degree weather, i will move into the sewing room. For now, I am taking advantage of some awesome weather! Monday-reality...back to work.
