Now that I am no longer doing that, they think I will just do it for free. I SAY NO!!!
My friend who was a seamstress for years, did other people's mending, and sewing. After many years, she gave it up, she said people didn't want to pay you anything. I never ever asked her to do my projects.

I had a lady asked me to hand crochet her a set of kitchen curtains! Now that is just plain funny! I turned her down flat!

I have never put my shingle out, no sign that says open for business, so I don't know where people get this idea that I am available!

I must say I have became better at saying "NO"

Oh and here is the best yet :) REally! My son's fiance was telling her mom about all the beautiful quilts I made and just had to show her. OK. Then she says to her mom "she made me a pink fleece blanket for Christmas and I love it"
Reading between the lines, I didn't get a quilt like the dil did at Christmas time. Little does she know in just a few weeks she will get a pink turning twenty quilt, it just so lovely! She is always so appreciative, she is going to go aps! I love giving my quilts to people who enjoy them! :-D
