I'm so excited. I've been borrowing it from a friend for a couple months, and she wanted to sell it!
I can't wait to go play with it some more. It's definitely found a nice home in my sewing room!
Oh, you will LOVE it! I have one and as far as I am concerned, the Vikings are the Best!!! I also have the Topaz 30 & and Designer Diamond. Those 2 have the long throat, great for quilting and those large hoops. Study up on connecting your SE to your computer and downloading designs you customize yourself; nothing better. Oooohhhh!!! Excuse me, I gotta go sew :!:

There is a Yahoo Group for owners of the Designer SE and they will answer questions you have about it and help if you get in a snag with problems.

I can top all of you! I have the Designer I, the SE, the Topaz 30, and the Diamond. And I use them all. I keep the walking foot on the SE, the 1/4" foot on the Topaz, and the embroidery hoop on the Diamond. Then I use the D-1 for thread color changes or other jobs while quilting. The 10" throat is to die for

I traded in my SE for a Diamond and ended up buying another SE to go with it because I missed it so much, lol. It is a great machine and you will have a blast with it.

I have never been able to do a trade-in. I get too attached to them. I didn't trade in one kid when a new one came along
