I have never been able to do a trade-in. I get too attached to them. I didn't trade in one kid when a new one came along
Believe me, I am making up for it now, lol.

I had been borrowing it from my friend while my Designer II was down. Now that it's back up and running, it's so fun to hear both embroidery machines going at the same time! lol I feel like I get twice as much done. :)

Been very happy with mine which I bought as a trade in. I topstitched a crazy quilt and it took 2nd place in our county fair last summer for "interesting use of embroidery".

My husband convinced me to go for the SE in 07....I've never regretted it even though the price was much more then I would have ever pd.
I've been embroidering and quilting every day since...I invested at the same time in the Professional 4D software where you can take a photo and translate into stitches..did a Family tree quilt with stitched family photo's...Can also make up your own designs, edit designs and allot more...
Enjoy...

Now you need the 5D software. It is so much easier to use than the 4D. I have it along with the Diamond. I haven't use the picture stitch yet, but it is just so much easier to use than the 4D. And the 4D wasn't all that hard.
