That show was fantastic, wasn't it!!!! And I can't imagine a better situation for buying a long arm. It seemed like they were ALL there so you had the chance to compare the feel and "fit" of each one. Good for you. Happy quilting!!

I can just feel your excitement... and I, too, am jealous. I can't wait to have one of my own someday... You'll have to find something to keep you busy (and calm) for the next 3 weeks until your new toy arrives. Congrats!

OH! I know exactly how you are feeling cause I just got my "new" long arm on Sunday! I had purchased it 3 weeks ago and it took that long to "rearrange" the basement (read that cleaning, getting rid of tons of stuff, and just generally making room for the "Buick" as my son called it!). I bought it from the family of a guild member who recently passed, and also got all the thread, rulers, books, and 3 rolls of batting. Because of knee surgery in 2 months I really can't spend the time on it I'd like to cause my knee giv es out--but it is totally like Christmas just getting to run it and go through all the goodies!
