So even taxes have a silver lining......which would be a good color for a quilt that I'm making!

This reality was brought home to me when my dn and I went to the restroom at a restaurant and she grabs her cell phone and starts taking pictures of the floor tile.

Is there a cure?
NO there is no known cure. And I thank Heaven everyday that there is not. I see patterns in floor tiles. I look for quilts in movies. And I am always thinking about the next thing I will do when I have over a dozen UFOs right now.

It's nice to know that others see the same. I love the floor in Pompeii, it shows that there is nothing new in the world. I recognize quite a few quilt patterns there.

A few years back, I did some work for a roofing company. Of course there is metal around for flashing, etc. Some one there must have had an eye for the art that is present in metals because someone had made a wall decoration from metal. Small pices of metal had been cut into shapes of leaves. (They must have used some type of heat to make the cuts; the edges were all jagged like real leaves) Then the leaves had been welded onto some type of rod (all twisted and turn to form a branch) There was one main branch with smaller branches "growing" from the main branch. I could certainly see a design such as this being created from cooper and hung outside where it could turn all those wonder tones.

He laughed and told me to name the quilt for him. So it will be the "Blue Chris Quilt".

No cure, I walk into people cause I'm heads down to the floor, or up to the ceiling, or all around looking at the walls - all for a quilt pattern!
