Default I need ideas for 3-colored simple quilt

Happy New Year!! I am making my mother-in-law a quilt, she wanted lavender and green, so I bought some gorgeous batiks, lavender, greens and blues. I need ideas for simple 3-colored quilts. One of the batiks is dark, the other two are mid-value, with one lighter than the other, but not light, like white. I can do triangles, but not too well, so squares and rectangles are preferred!!!
    Thank you,
    Nancy

Sandy, can I do that with three colors?? I did one of them with 9 colors, how would I set up the colors? Would they go like this:

    Green Purple Blue
    Blue Green Purple
    Purple Blue Green
And how would that look when I cut it and re-sew it?? Thanks for your help!!

These look like examples of a 3 fabric D9P

I would pick your favourite fabric to put in the 4 corners. This is a great tutorial for using 3 colours and it shows all the variations, depending on how you rotate your blocks
