If you had a request for a "neutral" bed quilt, what would that mean to you?

There are lots of different browns and beiges, and I would stick to the warmer shades to give the quilt a homey feel.

I am thinking creams, tans, browns......any suggestions? I liked the "creme brulee" quilt that was posted and then gone..... but it was just two colors.

A couple of years ago my DSD asked for a neutral colored quilt. I did a Delectable Mountain (Eleanor Burns) one in 2 shades of beige. But I just could help myself, I actually made the center piece with a forest green and Fucia. turned out really pretty!

I agree with this suggestion. Neutral to me means no dramatic, saturated colors. Softer shades of pretty much any hue. Take a look at the soft ocean colors in some of the nicer spas, very soothing. Look into nature for inspiration,

That is what I think of when I think of nature - and what is more natural that the ocean and shales? Please let us when what you come up with. I always look forward to seeing the completed quilt of someone who requests suggestions from the Quilting Board members.
Good Luck. And, how sweet of you to make a quilt. That is love!
