    ok, no laughing...
I have a pegboard and a 5' long dresser that has shelving on top with notebooks and books going to the ceiling.
All total I have (not counting the shelves I just mentioned of course), 8 sets of shelving, so the point is...no one can tell what color my walls are
When this was DD's room, she painted three walls creamy white, and one a deep, deep burgundy solid, bc she put up a border with those colors and some yellowy beige flowers on it.
They match the huge oriental rug covering the entire floor.
My space past the entry is 11' x13'.
So...to sum it all up if I were asked, "What color are the walls in your sewing room?"
My answer would be: "Fabric" ;) :!:

I have painted my sewing room two shades of pink. One wall only is painted a darker pink. Of course the colors are called something else, has been over two years and can't remember the names. My two windows, one facing true south, the other west, let bright light in but not direct sun expect in late winter because of the roof overhang. My room is a bit cramped but it all works.

Quilteddove I LOVE your room. Looks like you have enough room for all of us to come and play.

Sandy you could do a double color paint job like a yellow color on top and a second color on the bottom like maybe a mint green and to make it really set off you could do a painted stripe in the middle where the two colors come together. Just an idea, gg I haven't been dreaming of a sewing room.

Yellow is my favorite color..but the blue and pink is nice too. I started to do some reorganizing last night...didn't get to far..I keep checking QB. There is a clothing closet in my sewing room and I threw a hint at DH to take the doors off of it and put shelving in it..then I can store more fabric! I call my sewing room my sanctuary.

I saw the orange walls, LOL..reminds me of my son. He bought a house a few years ago. His favorite color is orange..so the bedroom is orange, his hall way, his dinning room and his kitchen all orange. It grows on you.
I like the sponging you did over top of it.

Mine is a medium soft pink, and I love it. I got it back this week as my youngest son just moved away from home. The happy mixed with the sad. I'm officially an EMPTY-NESTER.

QuiltingGrannie... I love your room w/flowers! And Quilted Dove, my favorite color is soft yellow. So why is my room beige w/mauve and dark green?? I don't know  But I haven't changed the colors in 16 yrs. This used to be my office, but as of this week it is now my sewing room!

My room is celery green, with bright white trim. I like it because it goes with anything. Unfortunately, my room is also my den but it is hard to tell because of all the sewing items, but I do need extra seating and play room when all the kids and grandkids and great grandkid are here.
