My case and machine were both musty. I used the set in the sun technique as well as dryer sheets. I also bought an odor eater shoe insert and laid it in the bottom. I just keep it there and it works well!
P.S. Love her name! Have fun with her!

Take plain charcoal that you use for BBQ. Place them on newspaper on the bottom of the case and shut the lid for about one week. Should do the trick. I have used this idea in basements, suitcases anything with an odor. The charcoal absorbs the odor. White vinegar also works but it can spill into the case and you don't want that wet.

I set something like this on top of the dehumidifier for several days -- open. I also sprinkled baking soda in it.
if you have hot sun, that may do the trick as well -- you need to kill the mold spores.

Congratulations on your little Featherweight. She is beautiful!! That is such a cute name you gave her. I know you will really enjoy it. How old is she? Have you looked her up yet?
