I love that it has a name. Its funny, but I like that old smell. I have a Necchi Elna that was my Grandma's and it reminds me of her!

But I must confess... Bitsy smells... a lot. Like grandma's attic. She's going to the repair shop for a spa treatment, so hopefully that will take care of her, but her case just reeks. Any suggestions??

But smelly or not, she's my baby!!
    Try a few fabric softeners.

I just read on another site to put a banana peel in the case. She said it took care of the smell in her case.

Are you kidding? First thing I did when she arrived was look her up! She was created Oct. 28, 1947. So I guess that makes her middle aged, just like me!

check out Dave McCallum's Featherweight site. he has developed a light bulb method that really works for getting that stinky/old glue out of a case.
