i know all this talk about apps but they are not saying which ones they use. That would be good to know.
I have had my IPad for a couple of years. I no longer hand sew at night because my IPad keeps my hands busy.
PC, Iphone, IPod and IPad. life is good.
here are some good apps:
/RK Quilt Calc
Quilt FAB
Quilt Shops <---- ever wonder if there is a QS where you are at??? this app is it.
Quilt Ref
Block FAB
FAbric StashXL, not a free app
Jo-Anns
Machine Embriodery apps:
Huskyvarna Color it
Pfaff Emb Art
Other apps i like:
Free stuff
Grocery IQ <---this even tells me if there is a coupon out there.
Black Friday <--plan your Black Friday ahead of time.
Sherman Williams Color Snap <--- helps me with combining colors
Free books:
Wattpad
free books
Ibooks
Kindle
B @N Reader
Then there are all the free recipe apps, or calorie tracting apps, but that is another day. I love Words with Friends scrabble game.

Sara, so are you able to view the Scriptures on your iPad and flip to where ever you write notes easily and quickly?

I biggest beef with the ipad is how to hold it...well I just found out about the Grablet. Can't wait to get one. http://www.thriftyideastoday.com/201....html?spref=fb

I have the Motorola Xoom and love it too! I can access anything from my car, sitting at the doctor's office, etc. I think the iPad and Motorola Xoom's are great I saved for months and months and months and months and months and months to get mine.

I made a KIndle holder for my niece who couldn't hold anything with her left hand using an idea like this. I just added a vertical strip of wide elastic across the back that she could slip her hand into. It worked great and I am planning to make one for myself as holding that thin Kindle gets my hands to hurting after awhile.
