Iron Died, what should I get?

I had bought 2 rather expensive irons and they kicked the bucket in less time than it took to get hot! (well, not really, I am exaggerating a little!:-) So I went to Walmart and bought a simple old style, (remember what moms iron use to look like, chrome and black???) and have used it for the past 3 years without any trouble. It cost me $19.57!!!!!
