You will find it when you are not looking for it and it will probably be where you usually would have put it.

This week I have lost the bottoms for support of Bow Tucks, handsewing needles and fray check. When I cleaned off one corner of my cutting table this evening I found the bottoms but have no idea where the other things are. The needles were in a pincushion. I found the pincushion but no needles.

I did that with 2 sets of crazy curve templates. I still can't find them and had to buy another 7" set to do my quilt. I even asked my quilting buddy if I loaned them to her - nope! I think they are the same place as all those socks from the dryer!

You all make me feel normal. I was wondering how much was age. Now I just choose to call it the creative process.

I am glad that I am not the only person who has gremlins.

I once got a couple of yards of "challenge" fabric from my quilt guild, brought it home and put it in a plastic ziplok and even put a label on it so I'd know what it was for. The challenge due date neared and that fabric was no where to be found. Two years later, after numerous searches by several friends, the fabric showed up shoved in the middle of a stack of fabric on my shelves! Talk about gremlins!

Found the fray check so now it's just the needles. I wonder what I'll be missing tomorrow.

Happens to me all the time. This afternoon I spent time looking for a pack of fusible web that I had recently bought - I knew I had purchased it - and looked in two rooms. Found it finally, on the bottom of a chair under batting pieces and material! Go figure!
