Would be easier to use the weights for cutting than to use as intended. LOL

For me, it would go with the exercise bike I use to lay strips on so they won't wrinkle ;-). Gotta use these exercise thingies for something! Wouldn't want them gathering dust.

I sent a thread on this a couple of weeks ago when I saw the Jordon's Fabric video on Cutting Corners. Her husband uses an 8 pound weight. I thought it was a great idea and bought one. It works great. I got mine at Target for $5.49.
By the way, I bought their pre-cut blocks in green/blue and did it at the quilting treat. It was very easy and makes a striking quilt. I would post it, but I haven't a clue on how to get a picture on this website.

A while ago someone mentioned a very light spray with adhesive underneath and allowed to dry would do the trick, but I haven't tried it out yet. You would have to ensure it was water soluble I think.

The weight is excellent use a can of whatever if you don't have anything else or a jar of sand, Quilter's select is excellent, Frosted Olfa are really good, suction handles help a lot.
