I am giggling too! What a great story you will have to tell when your granddaughter is older. Now, she needs quilting lessons so she will leave the towels alone! :D

Now, that's a quilt to save; and give to her when she grows up!

Yes, very creative! And, what a great way to get a new set of towels!! When I was growing up, it was my chore to set the table for dinner. My Dad was remodeling the kitchen so we were eating in the diningroom. I didn't like to make all those trips from the diningroom to the kitchen to set the table so I decided to pile everything on the dinner plates. Well, I tripped on my way into the diningroom and broke lots of dishes. I thought that would be the end of me, but my Mom was thrilled - she had wanted new dishes for a long time!!

I think this is precious and I still have some pretty silly things my kids and grandkids have made for me. Their favorite thing in the spring is to bring me boquets of these white blooming weeds that I am highly allergic to. I faithfully put them in a vase and put them as far from me as possible but show great excitement at their gift. I think this dgd has shown great creativity. lol

This is the kind of story you can tell at your GD's wedding reception when you make a toast. Everyone -- including her mother -- will love this one.
