The talent on this board is amazing!!! I wish I was so talented. Love looking at the pics.
it doesn't need a border, but i'd love to see a red border on it

I'm auditioning binding fabrics for my placemats - I like to have the binding cut before I start the quilting - and I was wondering if anyone has ever used fleece as a binding? I know it would be stretchy (good for curves?), and it should wear like iron. (I wouldn't use it for placemats..but it would be nice and cuddly for a quilt.)

Nice work everyone. Well, just as I finished up by rows and was beginning to iron the seams, the phone rang. The school called and one of the kiddos is not feeling well, so got sidetracked by going to pick him up. I am back and gonna have some lunch then get back to it. Seems like not only are we quilting along we are riding with Mdall to pick up ill kids. Maybe some of you would like to keep me company when I take him to the doctor this evening. If not, just keep my sewing seat warm for me until I get back. I will be back. Have to have this tree caught up by Wednesday. Now lunch, who's buying. LOL

Yup, that's exactly what my parrot would say if I had a parrot! LOL! Thanks for the laugh.

I got one out of two Rudolphs cut out, sewn and the body completely stuffed. I think I stuffed his legs too full because he looks very muscular! The hardest part of that little booger was cutting out all the pieces. Tonight he's getting ears, antlers, and a tail.

These are the panels I'm working with, although I did NOT get it from the ebay link. It's from my LQS, and I apparently got a steal on them.
