I really think some people love to "complain" oh I have to finish "x" amount by tomorrow. No you wouldn't if you'd have started earlier. Please don't get mad at me!! Like I said, I'm really anal and have to have things done in plenty of time. I'm also really slow quilting so it takes me longer than a day.
    Peace & joy everyone!!
That is normally what I do too. But this year I got sick so much
that plan flew right out the window. So I had all the shopping to
do right after thanksgiving. I did finish all 5 memory quilts tho.
Made the fudge and cookies on Dec. 23rd. We always have our
company over on Christmas Eve, and that leaves Christmas Day
for us only. So I can now collapse!!

I still have to to finish 2 gifts. I don't want to give any WIP's next year-- I am planning in my head and have started to check my stash to see what I may need to purchase.

I still have plans to make coasters, mug rugs, placemats, etc. Do I have them made yet? NO......
Oh...She did recently get a package of Fat Quarters but I had it sent directly from the internet site! I'm sooo bad!

Nor have I finished the Christmas Quilts I was going to give, and somehow, don't see that happening this Christmas!
    There's always next year!

Great idea. I will be retiring in June, so I'll be able to start in July on my gifts. That's the plan anyway.

That is what I told my students. Had one lady that did not get her quilt finished. As I was cleaning the Sewing Studio I found some of the patterns I wanted to make this year for Christmas. Guess those need to do to the top of my list/stack.

Hehe. Thats how it is for me too. So maybe we should start making our Christmas gifts for 2015, then we may get them done in time if we start now. LOL

If it wasn't for the last minute rush, I'd never get anything done. I have a long-arm and finish quilts for customers who always manage to bring in their Christmas rush quilts around the first of December. I really need to start MY Christmas projects now.
