I've heard of the special rulers as well but I just use strips.

My Ladies in my patchwork group kindly treated me to this for Xmas, http://www.creativegrids.com/acatalog/info_CGRJAW1.html I am now thinking of treating myself to the newer version that has come out http://www.creativegrids.com/acatalog/info_CGRJAW2.html

I have plenty of rulers and have used most of what you ladies have but this new one does make it easier with less measurements and coming out as exact as PP!

As long as you use the same ruler for all the cuts, squares ought to be fine-----------doesn't need to agree with any other ruler.

The fairly new Log Cabin Trim Tool rulers are my favorite. I like the largest one best.

I have been debating on the Go Log Cabin die and would like to hear from others that have it is it worth it? Its pretty expensive so I really would like to know from those who have it if they like it and if it really made any difference in making the block come out better and if its a pain to try and use different fabrics since its all on the same die.
