Ooohhh I like the idea of the pot of gold in the corner.

Stunning! Maybe a little more intensive then I want to right now but sure on my bucket list. Thank you for sharing.

Her patterns are always awesome. Thank you for the input.

Yes, this crossed my mind also but I think I will do the Irish chain since it is Irish. This would probably have been the quickest indeed.

Sorry, I should explain, orange reds. It is hard for me to find true oranges and I want to use what I have on hand. But yes, it should be orange. LOL I love orange. It was bothering me too so I actually went through all my scraps at 5 am to find more of the right orange. It seems most of what I have is too yellow or has other colors with it like pink. You bring up precisely why I should not try and substitute orange/reds for the correct orange. Thank you.

Red face St. Patrick's Day quilt, Irish quilt, triple Irish Chain scrappy quilt

Thank you all for your help and input. This is the first quilts I got done. First? Yes, I cut enough to make 2 to 3 more quilts this size. LOL I am trying to come up with some more ideas to use up all those short and long dark green and creme strips I cut.

Thank you costume girl! I wasn't sure as it is very scrappy, needing to use up all that fabric sitting around, but I am happy with the result too.
