Default Looking for quilt pattern seen on Pinterest

Hi there, this may seem strange, but I saw a beautiful quilt on Pinterest and the link led me to this forum. I spent hours looking elsewhere (as you do) looking for a pattern and then decided to find the forum, join and then see if I can find the quilter - Jennifer23 - who posted the original picture.
i hope that this is ok to do here, if not I apologise in advance, and would appreciate any assistance in tracking down the pattern.
Many thanks from Queensland, Australia
Jen

Welcome to the board from Texas.
Jennifer23 is still a very active member on this board so you should be able to contact her through a private message. To get to her profile you can go to the search forums box in the top right hand corner & type in jennifer23. Find her in a current post in one of the treads & click on her teal colored name on the left hand side of the thread. This will bring up her profile & you can send her a private message (pm). I hope this helps you & we look forward to seeing more of you here.
There may be an easier way to find her but this is how I know how to do it.

Do you have a link to the original post? It's a gorgeous quilt and reminds me of Barbara Cline's quilt patterns.

Welcome. Indeed that is a beautiful quilt. According to Help - how would you quilt this? in the thread Help - how would you quilt this? it was her own design. She narrowed down how she thought to quilt at How should I quilt this - Part II but I couldn't find what her final decision was.

Evidently, I was posting when you replied (it takes me a long time to compose and finally submit) Interesting that you identified the inspiration for Jennifer23's own design.

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

It is basically a 6 point star. This ruler by Jan Krentz would be what I would use to recreate a similar look. https://www.jankrentz.com/weblog/wp-.../01/10455A.jpg
When you look at the star as a closeup, it is split down the center, therefore no y seams. Jan's rulers have the divisions on them to be able to strip piece all the diamonds.

This is how I would make the diamonds using Jan Krentz's ruler (either of them). Please ignore my drawing skills. Each diamond uses 3 fabrics. Hope this helps some.

Edited to add: I went to the original post and she states her strips were 1 inch wide and the stars were 11 1/2 inches point to point.

Thank you, I have sent a message. I am keen to start my next project 😂 Have just finished my first One Block Wonder, and am looking at Bonnie Hunters Straits of Mackinaw. This quilt popped up when I was researching for that one....
