Possible lap quilt for those chilly nights in front of the tv when he could not get to sleep thinking about the family he recently lost. Put fleece on back and no need for batting inside.

Thanks you all for your ideas. I think a quilt would be great. Just have to get this machine use to these hands. LOL! I send a picture on my phone to his daughter in law that I am good friends with. She said that Norma would be happy that someone got the machine that enjoyed to quilt as much as she did. I can't help but wonder if Norma ever got on this board.....there was someone named Norbe39 but I have no way of knowing if it was her or if she ever got on here. Her address had was a po box 393 so that's what made me wonder too. ;)

I was doing a bit of stippling earlier! Love it!!

I do have a ? for anyone that owns a machine that is setting on oil. Do you refill this at some point? He said they never did. I've been looking at the book but haven't come across where it says what to do about it.

Hugs.

Thank you. ;)

I agree that this would be nice,. Maybe in dark "manly" colors.

I would suggest a gift card in the Thank You card, he can probably use the money. Plus, his wife was a quilted, so he probably has quilts, etc from her. Just a thought.
