Making an I Spy "activity" mat/blanket. Any ideas?

No coffee ... and worse, no lattes today!
Just had some O Canada Tea (maple, what else) awhile ago, but that's decaf!! :)

I will just give you one more idea .... being a former dairy farmer, that boy needs a cow or two in the mix!! :)

Be careful that the shoe laces aren't long enough for the baby to chew on and get choked or the plastic ends. Maybe a puppy or kitten or fire truck instead.

How about scanning pictures onto fabric of mom, dad, pets, grandparents...any one special?

I think all buttons or other attached items are a major concern. Thanks for reminding us.

stripes, plaid , polka dots, checkerd,zigzag, diagonal lines.

tic tac toe square with a pocket for pieces.

square with flaps. underneath would be clear plastic and family pictures can be put in. play where is mommy? where is the dog? as they get older. Where is my boyfriend? Who is my BFF?

For Ex. cut out a lot of small items, ex. a fish, an oar, a sail. back them with a sm magnet. sewn securely inside. Put amagnet strip inside a sq, with a boat on it. kids can put on like items that match. another ex. picture of a barn. and small animals that go there. you also could use velcro for sm kids.
