    Default Memory craft 8000?

I have a 8000 memory craft machine that the light on the display is very dark and the only way I can see what stitch it is set on is to use a flash light.Does anyone know if this could be fixed and if it is very costly to have fixed..thanks

I thought it had a little round control you could alter it with. I have an MC4800 and believe mine does.

I had that problem a few years ago and had it fixed. The cost was $300.00 then. A few months ago I had another problem and took it in and found that it could not be fixed because the part was no longer available. I know the repairman very well and know he checked everywhere to be sure. Have since bought a baby lock and am well satisfied.

It can be fixed they just put in a new board, but good luck on finding someone who has the
part , Janome consider it very old model and have gone out of the parts , I changed to a Bernina
    and love it . Cathy
