Funny how stuff and critters are in your house...are you the original owner? think your place needs a 'cleansing', lol  [/quote]
Yes I am the original owner. Yeah my Mom used to say we lived in the house of Lucy. You had to plug in the exhaust fan to make toast. And cats that play fetch and just nutzy things.

It makes chain pieces go so much faster, you can use both hands without one being taken with the presser foot,
I had a janome and if they didn't change the design, I think that is the problem, if I think back, I think mine got stuck a few times, I am not sure how I fixed it, know I didn't take it in, I hate getting my machines worked on, they usually mess them up.

I had a problem similar to that with my Juki TL-98. Last year, when it was new, I was sewing along and suddenly the machine started cutting the thread every few inches. There is a red square on the controller pad that you step on to cut your thread. Well I knew I wasn't doing it!!!
I looked under the table and sure enough, Tink had her rear end smack dab on the red button. I have disconnected the button so that it doesn't work anymore....but Tink still likes to sit on the controller at times....I think she just wants to see how quick I can hit the power switch.......

Kate the lab especially when she was a bit younger liked to sit on my foot, while it was on the foot pedal, which is funny when you think about it, not so funny when it is happening, she did it the other day again, she is such a horse.

It is like it is getting the signal to sew but no one is sending the signal. Have any of you had a problem like this??
