My "must-do" project is nearing completion!

Thanks everyone! The fabrics I used are Batiks but Stonehenge would be stunning as well I did get back from Lancaster County today and found some nice fabric for borders at Burkholder's in Denver, PA. I am planning on a very small 1 inch finished very dark brown or black border as a way to finish of the pattern, then a solid rust 2 inch finished border to pull out that salmon color and then a 15 inch wide main border. The quilt is to be used as a bedspread and I have to get to a 98 x 98 size! I had originally planned on using the dark Batik from the smallest squares for my third border but unfortunately could not find it and only have 1.5 yards left. I did find something that worked and will use that 1.5 yards for binding. Definitely will post a picture when it is all done. I am a topper so this baby is definitely going to an LAQ for an overall panto.

I have been working literally morning to evening for the past week to get this quilt top pieced. It is the 'Magic Square" Pattern by Helene Knott. I ended up adding on to the pattern in order to get to a large queen size by the time I add on some borders. Tomorrow I am off to Lancaster, PA to buy some border fabric Got to have the top done by 8/10 to get it to my LAQ!
