Yay! I know you have to be excited! And think of all the pieces you have cut out already! You will be on a stitching and piecing roll for a bit!!

I got in on the end of your saga but I'm so happy you got your machine back! Do you have a name for it?

No "back-up" machine? I just purchased inexpensive Kenmore since I just read in one of the Topics here, that they are Janome machines!!
Works like little trooper and is light to take to classes/retreats!
If I couldn't sew, I would go BANANAS!
Hope it is simple fix for your machine!!

Go European! sew by hand. the old fashioned way, may be slower but it works in a pinch.

my sympathies to you. you really need a back up machine for times like these. I know...it hardly will replace the nice shiny new one but in a pinch...it'll do!
Thank goodness it's under warranty-hopefully you won't have to go too long without it. in the meantime you could find a new pattern, go out and buy yourself some beautiful material, start cutting out the pieces for that and.........voila! your machine will be back in your sewing room again!!

Good luck--let us know if your machine recuperates
