I find so many parallels with the the purchase and maintenance of a sewing machine and that of a car. I just found out that my new dentist wants $925 for a crown !! YIKES !!

$925 is a good price for a crown. I had one dentist quote me $2000 for a crown a couple of years ago!
I just had an implant this past year. I could have bought a car or a TOL sewing machine for the price of this tooth but I do have a pretty smile now

I would be taking it elsewhere for another opinion. Look on Craigslist maybe for someone who does it out of their home or on the side. If you are taking it to a dealer they always charge so much money, I understand they have overhead and all that but not everyone has hundreds of spare dollars. Usually the parts are cheap - at least to buy they are. And $200 labor- gosh it is as if they were rebuilding a car motor. That is too much for labor.
