    Yep. This is what I would do. But the HST seam will show and many people don't like that.

    ...or extend the horizontal and vertical lines and some those can be half square triangles...much easier that way and I really don't think that pattern is a true churn dash!!!!!

    Jan in VA this was my first thought when I saw the block. Seems to be the easiest way to me.
