I checked this out and love the idea of making sheets too. I could use this idea with the quilt but think I'll make lots of different sheets for his crib at home. This opened up tons of ideas running through my head on different themes. Yankees, dinosaurs, bugs and all kinds of things he loves. Thanks for the heads up.

THe cot's size is 42" x 21 1/2". I want to make the cover but I cannot come up with how to do it. It needs to be fitted like a sheet somehow . I found the cutest panel of a large frog that says "Welcome to my pad" and its coordinating fabrics. The main panel is 18 1/2 by 24. I've added pictures so you can get an idea of what I am using.
I want it to have the comfort of some batting and backing just like a quilt but it needs to fit over the frame of this cot. Any ideas of where to start? I am not good at winging things. I need to follow a pattern or instructions of some kind.
Thanks in advance for our help
Debbie

Best wishes... I also LOVE the froggy fabric. Can you tell us where you got it? If it's LQS fabric, can you tell us what company made it?

Thanks!

Borders!!! Take a cut of one of the small prints and make a border around, then take a cut of the wider border print and put it on the top and the bottom, and put another border around the whole thing. Then a border of the border print all around and then another border of another print to make it the size you need. It will be adorable because that enter panel is so cute! Jan

After you finish the quilt I wonder if you could add a casing for elastic so the whole quilt would stretch over and around the cot :?:

Glad you all love the fabric. IT is absolutely adorable. Wnating to make it for the daycare, I think, is awesome. He is the littel hit at daycare. There is one little boy there that doesn't respond to anyone but little Nateso I'm sure this will just be one more thing to help make them all smile.
THe fabric is Ribbet-ing by Wilmington Prints. If you go to www.quiltshops.com and put in RIbbet-ing all the shops that have it will pop up. I did notice just now that only one shop has the panel listed so start there and see wht you come up with. I did order mine this way online.
Hope you all can find it.
Thanks again for all your comments and help
